Courtready’s Artificial Intelligence Disclosure
Last updated: September 1, 2026
Where Courtready uses artificial intelligence, and where it does not.
At Courtready, we use artificial intelligence in two places:
- as an assistant when writing the code behind our website and tools; and
- when creating videos for Courtready Academy.
Our tools do not use AI. The calculators, maps, and other tools on Courtready.ca are deterministic. Each applies a fixed, published formula, rule, or rate to the information you enter. The same inputs always produce the same output, and every result can be traced back to the rule, rate, or guideline it comes from. Nothing you enter into any of our tools is sent to a large language model or to any generative artificial intelligence system, and nothing you enter is used to train one. The same is true of CaseCheck, which extracts and verifies citations without using a large language model.
Nothing you enter into our tools is ever sent to an AI system.
