Toronto court delays have been a significant issue. When we launched courtready.ca in June 2025, hearing dates bookable through the Toronto court’s Calendly system were 9 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘩𝘴 𝘰𝘶𝘵 on average.
Today, things are finally starting to move. Here’s what we’re seeing (live data as of October 15, 2025):
Associate Judge Motions and Express Court – Dates available in January 2026.
Civil Practice Court – Late October/November 2025.
Civil Case Conferences – Still a wait – May/June 2026.
Small Claims Court Motions – January 2026.
Eglinton Crosstown Opening – December 2048.
It’s far from perfect, but the trend is promising.
